Mission Statements

Gutenberg College (Undergraduate Program) Mission Statement

The purpose of Gutenberg College is (1) to provide an outstanding broad-based liberal arts education in an environment respectful of biblical Christianity, and (2) to encourage students to become mature, independent thinkers. To accomplish these goals, Gutenberg course work emphasizes interaction with writings of exceptional intellectual merit and the development of sound learning skills.

McKenzie Study Center Mission Statement

The purpose of McKenzie Study Center (MSC), an auxiliary institute of Gutenberg College, is to promote strict conformity to what the Bible teaches, strict adherence to a theological method that can and does discover the bona fide teaching of the Bible, and uncompromised commitment to biblical Christianity as a philosophy of life.

Art Project Mission Statement

The purpose of Art Project, an auxiliary institute of Gutenberg College, is (1) to promote an understanding of the biblical worldview among those whose encounter with the arts has raised personal and vocational questions and (2) to encourage artists to pursue their artmaking in a manner that embodies the biblical vision of life.
